Where to find the quest:

You'll need to progress the main story a bit until you reach July 23rd on the calendar. Once you get some free time, head to Seabreeze Street in Port Brilehaven. Look for a guy with a quest marker above his head – he's the "Sullen Man." Chat him up to kick things off.

What the Sullen Man needs:

Turns out, this dude's teeth are in such bad shape he's hallucinating tooth monsters (don't worry, they're real in this world!). To avoid a painful extraction, he needs a specific item: the Toothbrush of Hygienia. This little guy is chilling in Inundo, a village just outside Brilehaven. You've got a deadline of August 9th for this one, so it's smart to tackle it sooner rather than later, especially if you're trying to clear out other quests in the area.

Getting the Toothbrush of Hygienia:

This quest is best done alongside others in Brilehaven since there's a bit of a travel loop involved. When you're ready, use your gauntlet runner to access the map. Inundo is located northwest of Port Brilehaven, so that's your first stop. Think of it like a mini-excursion.

Once you arrive in Inundo, it's not a place you get to explore much – it's more of a quick stop. You'll get a prompt to do some shopping. You can check out some equipment and grab Mellow Milk, but what you really want is in the Key Items tab: the Toothbrush of Hygienia. It'll cost you 500 Reeves. Grab it, then head back to Port Brilehaven and hand it over to the Sullen Man.

Completing "Dental Distress" is pretty rewarding. You'll score 15,000 Reeves, which is a nice chunk of change for just fetching an item. But wait, there's more! The game doesn't explicitly tell you, but you'll also snag a Gold Beetle as an extra bonus when you turn in the quest. Nice!
