It's super important to have a good stash of cash for things like unlocking new Archetypes and inheriting skills. Luckily, there are a couple of solid methods you can use right from the start. Let's break 'em down so you can get rich quick!

First up, we've got the MAG Trader. You'll find these handy vendors in Grand Trad, the city where you begin your journey. They're basically a way to convert your excess MAG (which is used for Archetypes and skills) into Reeves. The catch? The exchange rate isn't fixed; it actually changes based on the weather. The worse the weather, the better the deal you'll get on your MAG. So, keep an eye on the skies!

At the start of the game, you might see rates as high as 5 Reeves for every 1 MAG. That means trading in 5,000 MAG could net you a cool 25,000 Reeves! To make this even more profitable, you can level up your Merchant Bond. At Rank 3 and Rank 6, you'll get boosts to the MAG exchange rate, making your trades even more lucrative. If you've got a ton of MAG lying around, don't hesitate to cash it in!

The second major way to make money involves the Merchant Archetype. To get this, you'll first need to build your Bond with Brigitte, who hangs out near the Igniter Shop in Grand Trad. Once your Wisdom Rank hits 2, she'll give you a side quest called 'A Bullish Embargo.' This quest will send you into a tough dungeon called Belega Corridor, where you'll face off against the Guptauros. Don't worry if it seems too hard at first; you can always come back later when you're stronger.

Once you've got the Merchant Archetype, make sure to equip it on your main character. This is key because the protagonist has a special passive skill with every Archetype. For Merchant, this passive skill lets you earn Reeves whenever you stun or defeat an enemy out in the overworld. While stunning is tricky, defeating enemies is a fantastic way to rack up cash. Your goal is to find a spot with a bunch of enemies that you can easily take down.

The Belega Corridor is a good early-game spot, but you'll need to clear it to unlock the Merchant Archetype anyway. Later on, a dungeon called the Abandoned Tomb becomes a prime farming location. You can access it by starting the side quest 'A Dagger, a Ring, and a Rake' in Martira. Inside, you'll find a large group of lower-level enemies clustered together on the right side. It's a good idea to complete this side quest first, as it also rewards you with an Archetype!

After clearing the dungeon and getting everything unlocked, you can then farm these enemies. Try to ignore the Lich if you see it, as it's a bit of a pain and hits hard. To respawn the enemies, run to the northern save point, enter Akademia, and then return to the dungeon. Each run should net you around 5,000-6,000 Reeves and only takes about 90 seconds if you're quick. Plus, the Merchant Archetype will drop extra items from these mobs, which you can appraise and sell for even more Reeves. Happy farming!
