Phases:

1. The Trove Imitec behaves much like other mimics but hits harder and has more dangerous abilities.

Strategy:

• This boss hits hard with a mix of single-target and party-wide physical attacks.
• The biggest threat is Sleepy Air, which can put your party to sleep. Sleeping characters take critical hits from physical attacks, making the fight spiral quickly. Equip accessories that prevent sleep if possible to make this fight much easier.
• If you can't prevent sleep, make sure you have a healer (like Medi) ready to wake up allies or heal the damage. Don't hesitate to use your items.
• Bring a Merchant to the fight. Their Gold Attack skill will force the Trove Imitec to waste one of its two actions each turn, significantly slowing down its assault.
• While it resists Dark attacks, it's weak to Light. A Healer class or someone with Hama inherited will be very effective. Any damage type other than Dark is generally effective.
• Try to steal from the boss using a character with a Steal skill. You might nab a Crescent Medal, which provides passive MP regeneration each turn.
• The longer the fight drags on, the higher the chance of mistakes. Try to end the fight as quickly as possible by using your strongest attacks.
