Alright, so you're looking to help out a lady in Angler's Inn Square with a little fetch quest called Soldier's Solace. You can grab this one once you hit the free time period, specifically from July 23rd onwards. She's hanging out near the tower where you do the Wisdom Royal Virtue activity. Basically, she needs some special medicine ingredients for the city's guards, who got ambushed by some human. The key item is the Dragonthistle Berry, and you'll need to trek out to Gracia Forest to find seven of them.

Gracia Forest Walkthrough

So, heading into Gracia Forest, you'll run into a few different enemies. The table below breaks down what you'll face:

Before you dive in, make sure to chat with the Informant in Brilehaven. They'll give you a heads-up about the Kokasados enemy you'll encounter later in the forest. Honestly, most of the other enemies you'll find are pretty low level, so you can probably take them out right on the overworld without even getting into a Squad Battle. However, if you want some extra loot, consider using the Merchant's skill to boost drop rates and focus on fighting the Canibaflo (those flower-looking enemies). Their common item is a useful cooking ingredient.

The main threat in this area is the Manjula. These guys are level 35 and can really mess you up. They've got abilities that can debuff your attack and defense, plus they can inflict Poison and Paralyze status effects. There are only two of these tough customers in the dungeon, and it's worth trying to steal the Chimera Armour from them – it's a solid piece of gear for your tank characters. The forest itself is pretty straightforward, not too many detours, and thankfully, all the Dragonthistle Berries you need are clearly marked on your map.

Keep an eye out for a Gold Beetle in the northeastern part of the map; it's a nice little bonus. Once you snag that last Berry, get ready because the Kokasados is going to show up to challenge you. Beat it, then head back to town to turn in the berries and wrap up the quest.

Soldier’s Solace Rewards

After you've successfully gathered all seven Dragonthistle Berries and returned them to the quest giver, you'll be rewarded with 30,000 Reeves. On top of that, she'll also give you a Dragonblood Sap, which is a super handy item that fully restores both the HP and MP of a single party member.
