- 1Recruiting Allies: Knock out enemy soldiers, drag them to a truck or cardboard box before they wake up. They will be imprisoned and eventually join your unit. A Politician in your squad speeds up this process. Rescued soldiers and unique characters join immediately.
- 2Special Conditions for Recruitment: Some unique characters have specific recruitment conditions. Rescued soldiers, soldiers recruited via AP Scan, passwords (like the GAKO soldier or Zero), and those who join via Cyber-Survival will join immediately.
- 3Soldier Careers: Each soldier has a career that provides specific effects. Examples include Athlete (faster movement), Scout (faster stalking), Surveyor (detailed stage map), Spy/Agent (decreases enemy life), Arms Specialist (increases carried ammunition), Chemist (works on medicine development), and Politician (makes prisoners join more easily).
