Walkthrough
- 1Knock out enemy soldiers.
- 2Drag them to a truck or cardboard box before they wake up.
- 3After completing or aborting the mission, they will be in prison on the Squad Management screen.
- 4From prison, you can view their skills, remove equipment, rename them, or dispose of them.
- 5After a few in-game days, they will join your unit. Having a soldier with the Politician career speeds this up.
Tips
- Rescuing a captured soldier immediately recruits them.
- Unique Characters have special recruitment conditions.
- The following characters join immediately after capture/rescue: Jonathan, Para-Medic, Python, Raikov, Sigint, Sokolov, Eva, Venus, Teliko, Gene (EU version), any rescued soldier, any soldier via AP Scan, any soldier via password (GAKO soldier and Zero are recommended), and any soldier who joins via Cyber-Survival.
- Soldiers have different careers that affect their abilities and the units they are best suited for (e.g., Athlete for Infiltration Unit, Politician for any unit).
- Cyber-Survival mode, accessible via WLAN, allows you to send your units on missions. Success can lead to soldiers joining you or giving gifts like Stealth Camouflage. Be cautious, as losing can result in your soldiers being captured.
