The RPG-7, first deployed in 1962, is an advanced anti-tank weapon. It is the successor to the RPG-2, which was inspired by the German Panzerfaust anti-tank grenade launch tube from WWII. The RPG-7 utilizes a reusable tube launcher and 85mm High Explosive/High Explosive Anti-Tank rocket-propelled grenades to destroy armored targets and bunkers.
