Walkthrough
- 1Knock out enemy soldiers.
- 2Drag the unconscious soldier to your truck or a cardboard box.
- 3After completing or aborting the mission, the soldier will be in prison on the Squad Management screen.
- 4Prisoners can have their equipment removed, names changed, or be disposed of.
- 5After a few days, they will join your unit. Having a Politician in your squad speeds up this process.

- Rescued captured soldiers join your unit immediately.
- Unique Characters have special conditions to fulfill for recruitment.

- Any soldier rescued during a mission joins immediately.
- Soldiers can be recruited via AP Scan or passwords (GAKO soldier and Zero are notable password recruits).
- Soldiers can join voluntarily through Cyber-Survival.
- Soldiers have careers that provide specific effects (e.g., Athlete for faster movement, Spy/Agent to decrease enemy life).
- Politicians can be placed in ANY UNIT and make prisoners join more easily.
- Cyber-Survival mode, accessible via WLAN, allows you to send units on missions with different rules. Success can lead to soldiers joining voluntarily or giving gifts like Stealth Camouflage. Be cautious, as losing can result in your soldiers being captured.
