The Road

Guide your way through Halo Infinite's 'The Road' mission. Learn how to defeat Banished forces, use vehicles like the Wraith, and reach the House of Reckoning.

Alright, so you've got a mission called 'The Road' in Halo Infinite. It sounds simple enough – just get to the House of Reckoning – but trust me, it's packed with Banished enemies. You're going to run into a ton of Brutes, Jackals, and Grunts, including some tougher elite versions. Keep an eye out for two Hunters; they can be a real pain if you don't clear out the smaller guys first.

You'll also see some vehicles like Wraith tanks rolling around. These can be super helpful for taking out groups of enemies while keeping you safe, but be careful! Those Hunters can wreck any vehicle pretty quickly if you get too close. Your best bet is to use the map's cover features and lob grenades to chip away at them without putting yourself in the line of fire.

This fight can drag on because there are so many enemies. To speed things up a bit, try to rescue any Marines you come across. If you're in a hurry and just want to push forward to the House of Reckoning, you can totally use your Grappleshot to zip past them along the sides of the map. Once you finally reach the end of the road, a gate will block the Banished, and you can interact with a terminal to get inside the fortress.
