Where you are: You'll be on the second island during the 'Excavation Site' mission. Indiana Squad is located northwest of FOB Echo.

What you'll see: As you approach, you'll see the Marines of Indiana Squad already engaged with a mix of Grunts, Jackals, and Brutes. They're drawing the enemy's attention, which is exactly what you want.

What to do: Your best bet is to find a good vantage point on a nearby hill. From there, you can pick off the enemies while they're busy fighting the Marines. A S7 Sniper or the BR75 is perfect for this.

Why this way: Letting the Marines engage first means the enemies are distracted, making them easier targets for you. If a Brute gets too close, and you have the Voltaic upgrade for your Grappleshot, use it to stun them. This gives you breathing room and makes them much less of a threat.

Position yourself on a hill overlooking the fight to get a clear shot at the enemies.
Use a sniper rifle or the Battle Rifle for long-range engagements.
