How to Defeat Thav 'Sebarim: To Sebarim

Learn how to defeat the Banished High-Value Target, Thav 'Sebarim, in Halo Infinite. Includes strategies for his Arcane Sentinel Beam, Ghost, and stealth tactics.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weapon: Arcane Sentinel Beam (modified Sentinel Beam with reduced magazine size but increased damage).
• Vulnerability: Relatively low health once shields are down.
• Weakness: Can be dismounted from his Ghost using the Grappleshot.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Ghost Assault
   Thav 'Sebarim will initially attack using a Ghost vehicle, allowing him to move quickly and harass the player.
2. Phase 2: On Foot & Stealth
   After being dismounted or losing his Ghost, Thav 'Sebarim will fight on foot and utilize stealth to ambush the player.

Strategy:

• Initial Approach: Maintain high ground before engaging to pick off weaker enemies from a distance. Use the environment, like blast coils, for chain explosions to conserve ammo.
• Dealing with the Ghost: Use the Grappleshot aimed at the Ghost to pull yourself to it and dismount Thav 'Sebarim. You can then use the Ghost's plasma cannons, but be aware of the risk of explosion. This can help deplete his energy shield.
• Countering Stealth: Once Thav 'Sebarim is on foot and using stealth, deploy the Threat Sensor to track his position. Staying within or near the sensor's radius will prevent him from catching you off guard.
• Offensive Tactics: Throw grenades into areas where he is hiding or near the Threat Sensor to weaken him. Weapons like the Ravager and Sentinel Beam are effective against his shields. A Gravity Hammer can quickly finish him if you can close the distance and attack repeatedly.
• Finishing the Fight: Once his shield is depleted, Thav 'Sebarim has low health and can be defeated with most weapons. Ensure all other enemies in the area are eliminated before Thav 'Sebarim is considered defeated, as the encounter is not complete until all hostiles are cleared.
• Post-Fight: After defeating Thav 'Sebarim and all other enemies, you can interact with his Arcane Sentinel Beam to equip it. It will also become available at any FOB.
