Conservatory

Enter the Conservatory through the hole created by the mining laser. Use AI Scan to highlight the entrance if needed. The path inside is linear.

Interact with a terminal to open doors. Investigate the dead Spartan to obtain the Drop Wall equipment and unlock the Grab Some Cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) achievement.

Continue deeper, fighting Brutes, Grunts, and Jackals. Use the Pulse Carbine for shields or other available weapons. Utilize blast coils by throwing them or shooting them to cause explosions.

Reach a large room with two terminals. Use AI Scan to locate them. Find and place the nearby power seeds into each terminal. Be prepared for a wave of enemies after placing each seed.

After placing the first power seed, you will be attacked by two fast, red-armored Elite Brutes specializing in melee. Use Dynamo Grenades to stun and damage them, or use the Grappleshot for a shorter stun. Attack them while stunned, but be ready for their melee attacks when the stun wears off. Kill them quickly.

Place the last power seed and proceed to a room with three hallways and a central terminal. Interact with the terminal to trigger a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically).

Head through the newly opened door on the right. In the next room, you will encounter an Elite Brute with golden armor wielding an Energy Sword and using Active Camo. Use the Threat Sensor to reveal its position and stay out of melee range to defeat it.

After defeating the golden elite, drop down to find two more weakened Elite Brutes of the same type. Use the Threat Sensor again to track their location and fire at them.

Continue deeper into the conservatory, clearing rooms while listening to the Harbinger and the Despondent Pyre. Move downwards until you reach the central chamber.

Cross the bridge and interact with the terminal in the center to trigger a cutscene.

You will be attacked by Skimmers, fast flying enemies. Three will attack first, with more joining as the Weapon tries to unlock a door. Skimmers are weak and die in one hit from most weapons but can inflict significant damage quickly. Use cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) if necessary.

Use the Shock Rifle, found in the room, to damage Skimmers when they are bunched together; its energy damage arcs and can kill or stun groups. Use gravity ramps to reach the other side of the room for recovery if overwhelmed.

You will also encounter Elite Brutes and Grunts during the Skimmer attack. Focus on headshots (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill) to quickly kill the Elite Brutes.

Once enough waves are defeated, the Weapon will find an exit and ask you to pick her up. Interact with the terminal to pick up the Weapon and proceed through the door.

The next room contains a dead Spartan. Examine this Spartan to obtain the Thruster equipment.
