How to Defeat Briglard

Alright, so you've started the 'Recovery' mission and you're looking to take down Briglard, huh? This guy's a bit of a nasty piece of work, known for being particularly brutal. He's a Grunt, but don't let that fool you – he's got a modified Plasma Pistol and a reputation. You'll find him on a small island, specifically at the northernmost point.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Enemy Type: Grunt (High-Value Target)
• Weapon: Modified Plasma Pistol
• Weakness: Grapple + Melee combo, especially with Voltaic upgrade for stun.
• Location: Northmost point of the island during the 'Recovery' mission.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Clear the Minions

   When you first arrive, you'll see Briglard surrounded by a bunch of his cronies – Grunts, Jackals, and Brutes. These guys can make your life difficult if you try to rush Briglard directly. Your first priority is to thin their numbers.

2. Phase 2: Confront Briglard

   Once the immediate threats are dealt with, it's time to focus on Briglard himself.

Strategy:

• First things first, deal with Briglard's crew. You'll find plenty of Grenades and Plasma Coils scattered around the area. These are perfect for taking out groups of enemies quickly. Don't be shy about using them!
• Once the surrounding enemies are down, turn your attention to Briglard. The quickest way to take him out is to use your Grappleshot. Just grapple directly onto him.
• Immediately follow up the grapple with a melee attack. This combo is usually enough to finish him off, especially since he's just a Grunt.
• Pro-Tip: If you've got the Voltaic upgrade for your Grappleshot, even better! It'll stun Briglard on impact, making that follow-up melee even more effective and ensuring he doesn't get a chance to fire back.
