This chapter is a familiar map but with units now present in the bottom area. Train your Avatar and Chrom beforehand, as Validar should not be too difficult. Pack healing items or bring a healer with Physic for the bottom area units.

The units in the bottom area will face enemies and reinforcements in the open.

After Validar is defeated the first time, the barrier between the upper and lower map areas will disappear, allowing your forces to unite.

You will fight Validar twice. His stats increase for the second encounter, but he remains manageable. He moves to the far eastern side of the map for the second fight. Unite your forces, clear remaining enemies, and then defeat the boss.

Use pillars and stairways for tactical advantage. Standing on stairways will block enemy reinforcements from spawning there.
