Guide to beating the Lost Bloodlines 2 DLC mission in Fire Emblem: Awakening. Includes strategies for facing Alm, Deen, Gharnef, Nabarl, and Tiki, plus unit placement.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Initial Placement: Your units start near the western and south-eastern castles. The western regiment should move east to engage the first group of enemies. Consider leaving a unit in range of Ogma. The south-eastern regiment should move north-west to regroup with the western forces, or use bridges as choke points. All enemies move on Turn 1.
  2. 2
Turn 2: Western troops cross the bridge to fight enemies on the other side. Leave a strong unit behind the bridge to prevent rear attacks. Weak units like healers can hide behind the castle. South-eastern forces continue west to rendezvous. Bait north-eastern enemies if possible, but beware of Deen's Counter skill. Green allies can distract enemies.
  3. 3
Turn 3: Western forces can either pull back to the castle or hold the bridge as a choke point (recommended). Watch out for Gharnef (Sorcerer with Vengeance), Nabarl (Swordmaster with Killing Edge), and Tiki (Manakete). South-eastern forces continue marching west, baiting more enemies.
  4. 4
Turn 4: Forces should have regrouped. Fight remaining western enemies. Then, use the bridge as a choke point against advancing eastern enemies. Alternatively, lead south-eastern enemies north and use the central woods and village for cover.
Tips
  • Deploying Chrom and your Avatar, paired together on a castle, is a safe defensive strategy, especially if your army isn't fully optimized.
  • Consider adding a second pair of characters to the other castle to spread the enemy flow.
  • Deen has the Counter skill, which can reflect damage. Be cautious when attacking him at close range.
  • Alm, the boss, is not exceptionally dangerous but deals 10 extra damage and has strong magic resistance.
  • If your army is strong and well-balanced, a more aggressive approach is viable.
  • Flying units may target green allies, so keep an eye on them.
  • Alm (Dread Fighter, Level 21) joins your party at the end of the mission.
  • Alm's Blade is obtained.
