Complete walkthrough for the Rogues and Redeemers 1 DLC mission in Fire Emblem: Awakening. Learn strategies, enemy placements, and how to recruit Ephraim.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On Turn 1, pair up all your characters into 5 pairs. Place your strongest pair at the southern choke point, away from enemies. Position other pairs slightly ahead of the green NPC units. Utilize Galeforce to kill and retreat if possible. Let the green units engage first.
  2. 2
On Turn 2, engage nearby enemies, prioritizing Wyvern Lords. Be wary of Jaffar from the west (Pass, Lethality, Galeforce). To the east, watch out for the Black Knight (Brave Lance, Luna), Nabarl (high Speed, Critical), and Lloyd (high Speed, Brave Sword, Astra, Pass). Avoid attacking enemies with "Breaker" skills if you might miss.
  3. 3
From Turn 3, start defeating nearby enemies. Enemies not already engaged will begin moving, except for Ares and Camus.
  4. 4
On Turn 4, confront advancing enemies from the north and west. If you have spare units, lure Ares and Camus. Avoid overextending to prevent losing characters.
  5. 5
From Turn 5, aim to finish the mission.
Tips
  • It is recommended to have a strong team with maxed stats before attempting this mission. Aim for units with 50-60 Level Ups, achieved through Master Seal and two Second Seal reclasses at Level 20.
  • Brave weapons, the Galeforce skill, and high-rank support partners (A or S) are highly beneficial.
  • The map is similar to one from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, featuring a ruined castle in the rain.
  • Take things slowly and lure enemies by placing units at the edge of their attack range.
  • Allow the green NPC units to engage enemies first to distract them and absorb damage. Maxed-out characters may be targeted less than the green units.
  • Most green units will fall, but they should provide enough time.
  • Be aware of Linus's Counter skill.
  • Even units like Lissa can hold their own if well-trained.
  • Ares and Camus will not move until Turn 3.
  • Recruit: Ephraim (Great Knight, Level 20)
  • Item: Gradivus (from Camus)
