Alright, let's talk about Virion in Fire Emblem: Awakening. He's a bit of a character – a noble from somewhere or other, and while he might seem like a loudmouth or a show-off, there's usually some truth to his boasts. Just be warned, he's super quick to propose to any lady he meets and is quite the primper!

When it comes to his potential, Virion can really branch out. He can become a Sniper or a Bow Knight, which are your classic archer types. But he also has access to the flying path, starting as a Wyvern Rider and potentially becoming a Wyvern Lord or even a Griffon Rider. If magic is more your style, he can also go down the Mage path, leading to Sage or Dark Knight classes. This variety means he can learn a bunch of different skills, which is pretty neat.

As for who he can connect with, Virion can achieve an A-rank support with Libra and Frederick. For an S-rank, which is your marriage option, he can pair up with Lissa, Sully, Maribelle, Cordelia, Panne, Nowi, Olivia, Cherche, Miriel, and Tharja. Keep in mind who you pair him with, as it affects which children units can be recruited later on. His potential children include Owain, Brady, Laurent, Nah, Noire, Kjelle, Severa, and Yarne.

Looking at his growth rates, Virion is pretty average in HP, Strength, Magic, Skill, and Speed, all sitting at a C. He's a bit better with Luck, getting a B. However, his Defence and Resistance are on the lower side, both at a D. Honestly, in my own playthroughs, he often ended up being a bit mediocre. While I usually love the Sniper class, it just didn't seem to shine as much this time around, or maybe I was just having bad luck with his stats! It's a shame because his personality really comes through in his supports and is quite amusing.

Despite his potential to be benched, Virion does offer a good variety of classes and skills. It's worth considering him, especially if you like his character or need a unit that can adapt to different roles.
