Frederick is Chrom's right-hand man, a knight from Ylisse who's incredibly sincere, sometimes to a fault. He's known for pushing himself and others hard, often with a grin, and he has a particular fondness for starting fires. He's a Cavalier who can promote into a Paladin or Great Knight, or reclass into a Knight (leading to General or Great Knight) or a Wyvern Rider (leading to Wyvern Lord or Griffon Rider).

If you're looking to build a family in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Frederick can have children with several characters. His potential children include Owain, Brady, Laurent, Nah, Noire, Kjelle, Cynthia, Severa, Yarne, and Inigo.
