Man's Best Friend

Travel to Rae-Rae's Pumpkin Farm, southwest of Dutch's Island. Prepare for a fight by visiting the nearby shop.

Approach from the north using binoculars to spot enemies. Identify and prioritize the cultist with a siren icon, as he will call reinforcements.

Crouch and move towards the house south of the farm. Eliminate the cultist inside.

Return to your previous position and move behind the crates. Wait for one cultist to move towards the dog's cage before taking out the one by the pickup truck with speakers.

Stay to the right to avoid detection and dispatch the cultist near the cage, followed by the final cultist.

Approach the cage containing the dog, Boomer. Shoot the lock with a sidearm to free him.

Pet Boomer by holding the [Square/X] button while looking at him to officially start the mission and add him to your Roster.

Before leaving, a pickup truck with four cultists will arrive. Use a grenade to defeat them quickly.

Loot the house where you eliminated the first cultist: find a supply box on the bed, a note, a Med Kit in the bathroom, and ammo on the living room shelves.

Locate a bunker east of the small silo outside the house. Inside, you'll find the first Vietnam Lighter collectible (for the 'What They Carried' Side Mission), a Perk Magazine (recommend getting the Grapple Perk), Cash, and various ammo.
