Talontear Tunnel

From Tantegel, travel north and slightly west into the desert to find the cave entrance to the Talontear Tunnel.

From the start, go south to the first intersection, then continue south to the southwest corner to find a chest containing an Ice Shield.

Return north, go back up the stairs, and travel all the way east, then north up more stairs. Head west to find a chest with the Snooze Stick.

Continue all the way east to the eastern intersection. Take the north path and follow it to the northeast corner of the floor to find the Friendly Monster Goodybag (Jules). You will need a Fading Jenny to capture this monster.

Return to the prior intersection and go south, then east, then south to find the stairs leading down to Basement 2.

On Basement 2, follow the linear path west to the west side of the map. Go south into a room to find a chest with 2,205 Gold.

Return north to the intersection and keep going west along the linear path to the next intersection. At this intersection, go south and then east to find a chest containing the Thief's Turban.

Return to the intersection and go east, north, then west to reach the stairs leading down to Basement 3.

On Basement 3, go north to find a room with a giant pit and several chests. Starting with the top right chest and working clockwise, you will find: Mini Medal #100, the Blizzard Blade, the Recovery Ring, and a Mimic Chest.

Go north along the west wall to reach the final chest containing the Hero's Shield.

The dungeon is unique as all spells are sealed for your party and monsters. However, monster Breath Attacks and Abilities will still work. Equipment that can be used as items in battle, like Power Shields, will function. If you have set Tactics for your party members, ensure magic users are set to "Don't Use Magic" to prevent them from attempting to cast spells.

To exit, you can walk back the way you came.

Return to Aliahan to collect the Goddess Shield for having 100 Mini Medals.
