- 1Go to the cemetery at the northeast part of town.
- 2Speak to the man beside the building to use Ra's Mirror and reveal the Friendly Monster Mummy (Mumsy).
- 3Enter the castle through the side door.
- 4Make your way to the top right of the floor.
- 5Take the stairs to the top floor.
- 6Jump down to the lower level.
- 7Walk around the central structure to find a door leading into the King's Bedchamber.
- 8Use Ra's Mirror on the King to reveal the Boss Troll.

- The Mod Rod, when used as an item outside of battle, can transform your party into different types of humans, monsters, Faeries, Dwarves, or Elves.
