Ibis (Magic Key)

Discover all the hidden treasures behind the Magic Key doors in Ibis Castle during the night in Dragon Quest III. Get the Recovery Ring from the Queen!

Alright, so you've got the Magic Key and you're ready to do some serious treasure hunting in Ibis Castle! This is a great little side-quest to grab some useful items. Just remember, you *have* to do this at night, so make sure you've progressed far enough in the story to trigger that.

Head into Isis Castle and make your way to the back of the first floor. You'll see three doors that require the Magic Key. We're interested in the ones to the west and east – they each have eight chests waiting for you!

West Room Treasures

The West Room is packed with goodies. Here's what you'll find:

• Seed of Wisdom: Boosts your MP.
• Sage's Elixir: A super useful item for restoring MP.
• Silk Robe: Some decent armor for your spellcasters.
• 172 Gold: Every bit helps, right?

East Room Treasures

Don't skip the East Room! It's got its own set of valuable items:

• Mini Medal #28: Keep collecting these for that special reward!
• Golden Tiara (Aristocrat): This accessory is specifically good for characters with the Aristocrat personality.
• Seed of Life: Increases your maximum HP.
• 643 Gold: More gold to add to your stash!

The Queen's Chamber

Once you've looted those two rooms, head upstairs to the Throne Room. Look for the Magic Key door on the northwest side. Go through it, and you'll find stairs leading up to the Queen's bedchamber.

Chat with the Queen. She's pretty helpful and will point you towards a spot on the floor behind her bed. Give that a good search, and you'll find the Recovery Ring – a fantastic accessory that restores HP each turn!

Pro Tip: Make sure you're visiting Ibis Castle *at night* for this. If you try during the day, you won't be able to access these rooms or find the Queen.
