Alright, let's dive into some more skills in Disgaea! This time we're focusing on the Spears, which are a solid choice, especially if you're using Etna. They hit hard and have some unique properties that can really change up your combat strategy.

Spears might not be as flashy as swords for some, but they pack a serious punch. Their power is top-tier, and they have this cool ability to hit enemies two squares ahead or even diagonally. That range is super useful for keeping your characters safe while still dishing out damage.

Some spear skills have a bit of a twist, like they might move your character. For example, Impaler pushes you back one square, and Avalanche pushes you back four squares. It's a bit unusual, but with a character like Etna who's already a beast with them, there's no real reason not to give spears a shot. Even if you're more of a fist or sword person, give them a try!

Spear Skills Explained:

• Blade Rush (Lv. 1): This skill needs the space four panels ahead to be clear, but it's great for hitting multiple enemies in a line between you and that target space. It does a bit more damage than a regular physical attack.
• Hurricane Slash (Lv. 3): Hits a single enemy one space ahead twice. It's non-elemental and hits harder than your basic attacks.
• Wind Cutter (Lv. 6): This one's awesome for clearing out enemies in a straight line up to five spaces away. It does way more damage than Blade Rush and has a really cool, fast animation.
• Winged Slayer (Lv. 10): You'll love the animation on this one! It hits a 3x3 area around the target for normal damage, but you need the space three panels behind you to be clear for it to work.
• Nightsever (Lv. 15): Think of this as a super-powered Hurricane Slash. It's way stronger, and by this point, you won't even be sweating SP costs.
• Dimension Slash (Lv. 20): Don't let the simple animation fool you – this skill absolutely demolishes enemies in a straight line five panels ahead of you. It's a real game-changer for clearing out tough groups.
