Alright, so you've reached the end of Chapter 9, and it's time to face off against Gordon and Thursday. Don't let the names fool you, this is actually the easiest battle in the whole chapter, kind of like a victory lap before the next big thing. You've got two enemies here: Gordon and Thursday.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Gordon: Higher HP (2100), easier to wear down.
• Thursday: Lower HP (around 1700), very high DEF, piss poor RES. Can use Robot Bazooka once.

Strategy:

• Your main goal is to take down Gordon first. He might have more HP, but he's the weaker of the two. Hit him with everything you've got – your strongest characters, your best attacks, just go all out.
• Once Gordon is defeated, turn your attention to Thursday. He's got high defense, so use your magic and other powerful abilities to chip away at his health.
• Thursday's Robot Bazooka is his only real special attack, and he can only use it once. Don't worry too much about it, just focus on defeating him after Gordon is out of the picture.

After this battle, Gordon officially becomes Laharl's vassal, and you'll get Thursday and Jennifer joining your party. This wraps up Chapter 9 in the Stellar Graveyard.

Just a heads-up, after this, you'll be moving onto Chapter 10. You'll see a cutscene with General Carter and Kurtis, who apparently knows Gordon pretty well. You can check out Etna's diary and do some shopping if you like, then it's off to 10-1.
