Alright, so you've made it to a bit of a roadblock. The last fight was a cakewalk with tons of weaklings, but now you're facing Sardia the Demonslayer. She's basically a super-powered Knight and she's packing over 1300 HP, with her Attack and Defense stats hovering around 300. Plus, she's got that nasty Wind Cutter attack that can hit multiple people. Seriously, if you haven't already, buy new weapons before this fight. You'll be doing next to no damage otherwise, and trust me, you don't want to get frustrated by chipping away at her health.

Your main goal here is to prevent Sardia from hitting two characters at once with her Blade Rush or Wind Cutter. Thankfully, that's not too difficult to manage. Here's a solid strategy: Start by positioning Laharl about five squares away and have him blast her with a Wind Cutter right off the bat. Set up a few attackers on either side of him, like a phalanx formation. Once Sardia moves in and attacks you, it's time to surround her. If you can get four strong attackers around her, and maybe a Scout outside using Tri-Burst or a mage or two (a Star Skull and Flonne spamming Star is surprisingly effective), you'll see that 1300 HP melt away faster than you think. Just be mindful of your own attacks like Sky Lunge, Triple Strike, and Tiger Charge, as they can move your characters around. And for the love of Baal, don't leave a bunch of characters standing four or five squares away from her – that's a recipe for disaster. Finally, let someone you want to level up get the killing blow to snag that sweet EXP.
