Alright, so you've stumbled upon Cave of Ordeal 3, huh? This place is legendary for leveling up in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. You'll find a Lv. 160 Talos and eight Lv. 150 Nataku here. They dish out a ton of EXP, and the map itself has EXP +50% bonuses, making it a prime spot to power level.

Here's the catch: at the lowest enemy setting, these guys have around 4000 DEF, and some even have 8000 RES. You'll need to be pretty strong to tackle this. It's a bit of a Catch-22 because the best place to get strong is usually 14-1, which slows down once you hit around Level 80. The Item World can help you bridge that gap!

When I first took this on, my Laharl was Level 87 with about 2500 ATK, and it was manageable. The key is how the enemies are positioned. They're in a 3x3 formation, which is perfect for Laharl's Winged Slayer special attack. Here’s a solid strategy:

• First, bring out your strongest characters. Have 2-3 mages cast Braveheart on everyone to boost their stats.
• Once buffed, send everyone back to the base panel. You can just cancel their deployment, which is super handy!
• Now, send Laharl out. Have him unleash Winged Slayer. This probably won't wipe them all out in one go, but it'll significantly weaken them.
• Since these enemies can barely move, you can slowly chip away at their health over a few turns. Don't forget about magic attacks, which can hit them no matter where they are on the field.

At first, this battle might feel slow and challenging. But as you get stronger and progress through the optional content, this spot becomes incredibly fast and easy for leveling up characters, even up to around Level 2000. Stick with it, and you'll be grinding levels like a pro!
