Complete Deus Ex Part 27 walkthrough covering Mole People tunnels, Kevin Bradley, NSF encounters, and finding key items like the MOLEPEOPLE BATHROOM NANOKEY.
Walkthrough
- 1Loot the body of the guard for two ZYME VIALS, a PISTOL, a COMBAT KNIFE, and CIGARETTES.
- 2Give Zyme to Don the Junkie for information. You can disable him to retrieve the Zyme, but it offers no benefit.
- 3Go to the Men's Room and give Zyme to Lenny to obtain a LAM and 100 SP. You can disable Lenny to retrieve the Zyme, but Zyme has limited use beyond this point.
- 4Return to El Rey for a LAM. If you only knocked Rock out, El Rey will be unpleasant, but it has no lasting consequences.
- 5You can obtain another LAM from El Rey by disabling him or knocking out his thugs. He will offer a LAM in exchange for his life.
- 6If you did not receive 100 SP from Lenny, you can get it by buying the LAM from El Rey or by taking out Rock for El Rey. Forcing El Rey to give you the LAM yields nothing and is the most difficult option. If your inventory is full when El Rey gives you the LAM, JC will chuckle, which is the only time he laughs in the game.
- 7Armed with two LAMs, find the cave-in to the Northeast. Use a LAM or the GEP Gun to clear the debris.
- 8Past the corridor, you'll encounter steam. You can jump through it, taking minor damage, or climb on pipes to open a 10% Strength Locked grate. Close both valves to open the fresh water supply for Mole People and receive 100 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS.
- 9Return to Charlie for the code to the Mole People's tunnels: 5482. This completes the SECONDARY GOAL and grants 25 SP.
- 10The 60% Strength Keypad is below the sink in the Ladies' Room. Enter 5482 to open a secret passage, granting 100 SP PROGRESS BONUS for finding the Mole People Hideout.
- 11Crawl into the Mole People's tunnels. Avoid being seen by the NSF.
- 12Crawl South and silently move. You'll find a hole in the wall where Kevin Bradley will tell you about the NSF leader's secret room, opened by a brick behind some boxes. This grants 25 SP for learning about the brick mechanism.
- 13The brick is in a shack in the Southwest. Avoid the patrolling NSF and enter the SW-most shack. The Run Silently Augmentation is helpful here. Find the brick behind cardboard boxes. Entering the hidden room grants 100 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS for finding the secret NSF room.
- 14Do not shoot the NSF leader immediately; talking to him will cause him and the other NSF to surrender, granting 100 SP for negotiating surrender.
- 15Raid the area. Collect the MOLEPEOPLE BATHROOM NANOKEY, a PEPPER CARTRIDGE, a PISTOL, a FLAMETHROWER, a CROWBAR, a LOCKPICK from a crate, and THERMOPTIC CAMO from another crate.
- 16A Terrorist in the Southeast corner carries a LOCKPICK, and another patrolling South carries an EMP GRENADE.
- 17A Mole Kid will inform you that the NSF plans to shoot you at the helicopter base. Two NSF discuss booby traps based on advice from Paul.
- 18Walk North and North-West. Past some pillars and before a burning barrel, crawl through a hole to find an armed LAM, a BIOELECTRIC CELL, a MEDKIT, an EMP, and four FLARES. This grants 38 SP EXPLORATION BONUS for finding a secret room.
- 19In the Ladies' room, find a MULTITOOL in a crate. Use the Nanokey to open the Men's room. Passing through this area grants 100 SP PROGRESS BONUS for finding the path to LaGuardia.
- 20Near the water, Alex will contact you. You can find an EMP GRENADE in a pipe to your right and a CROWBAR on the ground.
- 21Choose one of two paths: the left is guarded by tripwire lasers requiring a 40% Strength Control Panel to disable, or the right path has steam that can be turned off with a valve behind a 20% Strength Lock. A Metal Crate can be used to jump over the lasers.
- 22Continue East. Avoid the camera's sight; stay in its blind spot until it resets.
- 23Take down the NSF guarding the area and his SEWER DOOR NANOKEY. Open the door and proceed.
- 24In the next room, disable tripwire lasers with a 40% Strength Control Panel or shoot the TNT box nearby. Use the Button to extend a bridge and jump across the falling grates. Ignore the water below as it's an alternate route without benefits.
- 25The corridor past the water contains an armed EMP GRENADE. Disarm and pocket it.
- 26In the next room, you may see two Security Bots through a gap in a large rock. The GEP Gun is best, but LAMs and EMP Grenades can also disable them.
Tips
- The Run Silently Augmentation is very helpful when navigating the NSF-occupied shacks.
- Be mindful of the steam traps and laser grids; plan your approach accordingly.
- The GEP Gun is effective against Security Bots, but EMP Grenades are a good alternative.
