Follow this step-by-step walkthrough for Destiny's Ishtar Collective mission on Venus, including enemy tactics and objective guidance.

Alright, let's tackle the Ishtar Collective mission in Destiny. We'll head through the Shattered Coast, and your marker should guide you left into the Ishtar Cliffs. Your main goal here is to find a Mind Core, but expect some company from the Fallen. You can fight them or just Sparrow past if you're in a hurry.

Keep an eye out as you follow the path, because a Cyclops will warp in. These guys shoot explosives from a distance, so stay aware. You'll also have Harpies and Goblins to deal with, so use cover to take down the Cyclops. Its weak spot is its eye, so a Sniper Rifle or Heavy Weapon will make quick work of it. Once the Cyclops is down, grab that Vex Mind Core and make your way to Campus-9.

Use this pillar for cover to avoid the worst of the Cyclops’s fire. Shoot it right in the eye to do critical damage.

Now, you'll exit into Campus 9, which is a Darkness Zone. Your objective here shifts to taking out Fallen enemies, including Dregs, Vandals, and those sneaky Shanks. Head to the research center; you can deploy your Ghost to analyze the Mind Core you found. Be warned though, this action will draw the attention of the Vex who will spawn just outside the building. Expect Harpies, Goblins, Hobgoblins, and a Minotaur to appear over three waves. You'll need to stay on your toes because they'll be lobbing grenades and can come from all sorts of angles.

You must keep moving and using the various support structures and cover around the room. You can easily get swarmed if you aren’t careful.

A well-placed grenade and some accurate shots with an automatic weapon will really help here. The final wave brings multiple Minotaurs, and Vex will emerge from everywhere. If you find yourself getting overwhelmed, backing out of the building can give you a better choke point to deal with the Vex. Once you've cleared them out, return to your Ghost, collect the Radiolaria, and take it back to your Vanguard Mentor to get your Armor reward.
