Intercept the Fallen Wolves on Venus in destiny's A Kell Rising mission. Rewards include a Legendary Weapon and Emblem.
Walkthrough
- 1Start the mission in the Ashen Coves. Steal a Pike and proceed, noting that strafing with R1 and L1 now drops mines.
- 2At the end of the path, you will encounter a Wolf Walker. Use the Pike and its mines to defeat the Walker and clear out the Dregs and Vandals.
- 3Ride the Pike to the end of the path and jump up the platform. Defeat the Dregs and the Major Servitor in the open area.
- 4Ahead, you will encounter Skolas. Damage him until he flees, then deal with the Tracer Shanks and Dregs.
- 5Climb the hills after Skolas, encountering Dregs with a Servitor. Prioritize taking out the Servitor first.
- 6Around the corner, face another set of Dregs and a Servitor, supported by Tracer Shanks. Be aware of mines on the ground; shoot the small ball that appears when triggered to disarm the explosive area-of-effect slow.
- 7Turn the corner to face Silent Fang, an invisible Major Captain, and some Vandals. Use Heavy Ammo to clear this area quickly.
- 8Inside the cave, Skolas is escaping on a ketch ship. Clear out the approaching Wolves, focusing on the Major Scorch Captain.
- 9Collect the Scorch Cannon from the Major Scorch Captain. To use it effectively, hold the trigger to charge the shot. A fully charged shot deals over 10,000 damage, capable of defeating Majors in a single hit. Aim for 3 charges before releasing the trigger for maximum damage.
- 10Using the Scorch Cannon, clear waves of enemies, including another Major Scorch Captain and exploding Shanks.
- 11After clearing 3 waves of enemies, the mission will be completed.
Tips
- Using the Pike's mines can help manage enemies while you focus on the Wolf Walker.
- The Scorch Cannon is a powerful weapon when charged; do not waste shots on uncharged blasts against tougher enemies.
- Be cautious of mines scattered on the ground, especially before engaging Silent Fang.
