Complete the Undying Mind strike in destiny. Rewards include Armor Upgrade. Navigate Meridian Bay and the Black Garden to defeat the Vex.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Start in Meridian Bay, Mars, and navigate the Black Garden level backwards. Fight waves of Goblins, Hobgoblins, and a Minotaur. Take out the Major Axis Hydra as you will exit through that area. Grenades are effective against the clustered Vex. After the third wave, a barrier will fade, allowing you to proceed.
  2. 2
Run through the corridor to the area where the final boss was previously fought. Move up the staircase, defeating Goblins and Hobgoblins.
  3. 3
At the top, eliminate the Precursors, a special group of Vex. Focus on the Minotaurs, using a Void Shotgun, Super, or multiple Grenades. Your main objective is the Cyclops in the back; use Heavy Ammo to defeat it quickly.
  4. 4
Once the Cyclops is down, defeat any remaining Precursors to proceed into an enclosed structure, which is a Darkness Zone.
  5. 5
Face Minotaurs and Hobgoblins. Prioritize the Minotaurs on the right first to utilize cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects).
  6. 6
Leap down to face the Undying Mind. Vex will pour out of a portal; defeat them as they appear.
  7. 7
When the Minotaurs are defeated, the boss, a fast-moving Hydra with three shield gaps, will spawn, accompanied by other Vex.
  8. 8
Step back to clean up additional enemies before refocusing on the boss. Use the available cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) during lengthy periods to damage the Undying Mind.
Tips
  • Grenades are effective against the Vex when they clump up.
  • A Void Shotgun can quickly dispatch Minotaurs, or use a Super or multiple Grenades.
  • Use Heavy Ammo to quickly take out the Cyclops to avoid unnecessary damage.
  • Defeat additional enemies before refocusing on the boss to create lengthy damage windows.
