Objectives: * Get to the Buried City * Locate Cabal Signal * Tab Cabal Feed * Enter the Skyscraper * Ascend the Skyscraper * Find the Overwatch * Track the recon team * Expel the Cabal * Secure the Ancient Machine Gameplay Walkthrough: Your Ghost mentions that the Cryptarchs have been eager to explore this area, and it seems the Cabal are after something valuable within Freehold. Your first step is to head towards the Buried City itself. Once you're in the area, your Ghost will start scanning for Cabal transmissions. Keep an eye out, and soon enough, you'll get a ping pointing you towards Building 5. Head inside and start making your way up. Expect some Cabal resistance along the way. On the second floor, you'll find a terminal with an active feed. Your Ghost will scan it and discover that the Cabal have a recon team holed up in a nearby skyscraper. That's your next destination. This next building is actually the Dust Palace. Your Ghost will chime in, reminding you that this place was a hub for Clovis Bray, a center for science and research. As you ascend, you'll notice something interesting: the Cabal and the Vex are fighting each other! You can either jump into the fray or just slip past them; your choice. Eventually, you'll reach the Overwatch. This area is heavily guarded by Phalanxes, Legionaries, and Psions. Take them all out. Shortly after, a tougher group of Cabal will arrive, led by Bracus Tha'aurn, a Major Centurion. You'll need to defeat them to clear the area. With the Cabal dealt with, your Ghost will examine a machine in the Overwatch. It turns out this AI was connected to Mars' Warmind. Even more interestingly, it's still active and controlled by Rasputin. Your Ghost can't access it, and neither could the Cabal, as Rasputin's influence is far-reaching. And that's it for 'The Buried City'! You've uncovered a piece of Mars' hidden past and learned a bit more about Rasputin's omnipresence.
