It'll hop into a gap and out pops the boy's father, who'll give you a Mushroom as thanks! If you *didn't* push the boulder, the dad will be in trouble with a Wraith monster. Just defeat the Wraith, and you'll still get the Mushroom.
- 2Locate Funguy: Now that you have the Mushroom, it's time to find our fungal friend. Exit the tunnel where you got the mushroom and head south one screen, then east, staying towards the south. You'll hit a dead end, but look closely – there's a small waterfall you can enter. This is the same cave where you might have found Skelly or done Nikki's quest.
- 3Recruit Funguy: Inside this secret waterfall cave, you'll find the man who will become Funguy. Give him the Mushroom you've been carrying. He'll transform into Funguy right then and there and join your party, eager to find a way to return to his normal self.
