Follow this Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition guide to navigate the shifting maze of Fort Dragonia's Yellow Crystal Room, solve the terminal puzzles, and obtain the Earth Charm and Electro-Bolt.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
To reach the yellow crystal, you must first navigate a shifting maze. Head west through the walkway to enter a circular maze-like area.
  2. 2
Follow the maze clockwise, then head north towards the center. You will be near the yellow crystal, but it is on elevated ground.
  3. 3
Go around the center towards the north side of the maze, then follow the perimeter anti-clockwise. You will reach stairs leading up to elevated ground.
  4. 4
Go through the nearby westward exit. In this yellow-lit room, inspect the terminal at the back. Read the text carefully, especially after the room shakes, as it assigns parts of a dragon’s body (head, tail, body) to your three party members.
  5. 5
Return to the maze room. North from the west exit is a glowing blue tile. Step on this to swap your 1st and 2nd party members. Your party order will become tail, head, and body.
  6. 6
Press the Select button to cycle your party once. This will change your party to the desired configuration: head, body, and tail.
  7. 7
Return to the west room and inspect the terminal again. Confirm your party is in the head, body, and tail arrangement. Return to the maze room after it shakes.
  8. 8
To the right of the stairs, you can now go across to the blue switch. Inspect this to make stairs appear towards the east.
  9. 9
Press the Select button again. Your party will become body, tail, and head. Investigate the terminal again to alter the maze room, then return to the maze room.
  10. 10
Check the nearby stairs. You cannot reach the blue switch, but you can follow the second-to-last ring north to reach a new chest containing an Earth Charm.
  11. 11
Press the Select button again and revisit the terminal in the tail, head, and body position. Return to the maze room.
  12. 12
Backtrack towards the entrance of the maze, near the east side. Above the entrance, go up the stairs that appeared earlier. Make your way west towards a chest containing an Electro-Bolt Element.
  13. 13
Backtrack to the west side of the maze and step on the glowing blue tile. Your party will be in the head, tail, and body formation.
  14. 14
Press Select to cycle your party members. This will create the final configuration: tail, body, and head.
  15. 15
Use the terminal in the west room and return to the maze room. Retrace your steps back near the entrance of the maze, towards the east.
  16. 16
Go up the nearby stairs to the north, then follow the elevated path south. Just before the end, there is a new bridge connecting to a short path south-east from the yellow crystal.
  17. 17
Inspect the stone slab (a terminal) here. The central elevated portion with the yellow crystal will drop to the ground.
  18. 18
Make your way back towards the center of the maze and interact with the yellow crystal.
  19. 19
Once the yellow crystal is powered down, a yellow dragon statue will light up, generating a yellow circle in the central room.
  20. 20
Return to the central room and proceed to your next destination.
