You'll see Lorenzo getting jumped by Francesco and his goons. It's a big ol' brawl. If you're feeling confident with combat, you can take out the other enemies first. Just keep an eye on Francesco, he's a bit tougher than the rest, but not by much.

The easiest way to handle these guys is by countering. You can also grab an enemy and mash the Square button for a quick takedown. Gradually thin out the enemy numbers, but always keep an eye on Lorenzo's health. If it dips too low, you need to jump in and help him directly.

Once it's just you and Francesco left, counter his attacks and then hit him with a quick combo. He'll try to run when he's almost beaten – resist the urge to chase him! If you do, you'll fail the mission. Instead, Lorenzo will be attacked by two more guards. Help him out again.

After that, your job is to escort Lorenzo to safety. Follow the marker that pops up to the north. It's a bit of a trek, so try to stick to the alleys to avoid drawing too much attention. If you can sprint past the guards, great! If you get into a fight, focus on the ones targeting Lorenzo.

Once you're both safe, continue following the marker to your destination. A cutscene will play, and you'll be done with this part.

Glyph and Codex:

After the mission, you'll be right near a new mission marker, but before you head there, look for another Glyph. It's on a dark grey building nearby – you can spot it on your map. It can be a little tricky to find, so keep your Eagle Vision handy. It's on the northwest corner of the building, right next to the main dome with the cross. There's a tower next to it, and the glyph is on that tower, facing the main building. Look for a smaller dome with a cross on it; the glyph is right beside that.

For the puzzle itself, you've got 10 paintings and the clue word is "cut." If you want to solve it yourself, go for it! Otherwise, here's the solution:

Part 1: Assemble Perseus, Atilla the Hun, Sigmund, King Arthur, and Joan of Arc.
Part 2: The clue word is "Lean." Choose John the Baptist, Alexander the Great, Shabataka, Peter, and Moses.

That finishes the glyph puzzle and unlocks another video fragment.

Now, if you want another Codex page, head west from where you are. It's just a little west of the building you were just at. The entrance is on the north side and is guarded. You can fight your way through, or get creative: climb onto the roof of the building. You'll find some Thieves up there. Hire them, and when they climb down with you, tell them to lure the guards away. Then you can open the chest inside and grab the Codex page.
