Romagna Holiday

Navigate the Romagna Holiday mission in Assassin's Creed II. Learn how to handle carriage sequences, find Codex Pages, solve puzzles, and conquer the Ravaldino's Secret Assassin Tomb.

After a cutscene, you'll start a new sequence driving Leonardo's carriage. The main challenge comes from pursuers who will try to climb onto the carriage. To shake them off, steer the carriage towards objects on the road, like tree branches, to scrape them off. If they manage to get on top, sharp turns can help, but be cautious not to overturn the carriage. If a pursuer reaches Ezio, repeatedly tap Circle to throw them off. You'll eventually cross a flaming bridge, after which archers will shoot fire arrows. Dodge these, especially after turns, and continue until another cutscene plays.

Following the cutscene, you'll face guards. Disarm the Brute first, then eliminate the others. Head to the marker to complete the mission. You'll find yourself outside Forlì. Locate and scale the nearest viewpoint, then enter the city via the drawbridge. Near the entrance, you should find a Codex Page on the south side, between a Tailor and a Blacksmith. Defeat the nearby guards to claim it.

Explore deeper into the city, using viewpoints to reveal more objectives. Further north, you'll find another Codex Page near the Courier Mission NPC. Note that armored guards cannot be disarmed until weakened, and Archers require more than one throwing knife. A GLYPH is also located at Abbazia Di San Mercuriale, on the south column wall, above the columns. Climb up and scan it.

Titans of Industry: This section involves slider combination puzzles. The first puzzle's hint is '4=1', meaning align the red wheel's 4 with the grey wheels' 1. If numbers are not random, the code is 240. After a video, you'll get a photo. Identify the location (his hands) to get another puzzle. This time, the red slider lacks numbers. The clue involves matching a grey wheel number (e.g., 2) with a symbol on the red wheel ('||..'). Missing symbols on the red wheel follow a pattern. For example, if the code is 139, the symbol for 3 is '|||' and for 9 is '|..'.

Continue north to find another Codex Page in the northeast corner, below the city walls and northwest of a tailor shop. After collecting it, exit the city and head north, activating more viewpoints. Return to the southwest area to find a mini-fortress containing an Assassin Tomb entrance on its north side, near the water. Swim or climb to it.

Assassin Tomb - Ravaldino's Secret: Start by swimming to a wooden platform, then climb the wall. Jump to a platform, make your way across the room, activate a lever, and run through the gate. In the next chamber, dive under the iron gate and proceed north. Climb the walls by jumping between opposite sides. Reach the top, perform a Ledge Assassinate on a guard, and climb out. As you move across, more guards will appear; use stealth to eliminate them. Go to the southwest corner, climb the scaffolding, and jump to a balcony. Use the red shield to reach another balcony. Here, pull the second lever. The camera will show the third lever; pull it and quickly hop across gaps to reach it before gates close. Interact with this lever and move fast to cross to the other side. Around the corner, climb the east wall and shimmy left using shields and windows to reach an open window. Drop down, go down the stairs, climb over the railing, kill the two guards, and take the stairs down.
