    The church area is a restricted zone. You will encounter two patrols. You can either kill them or avoid them.

    On the right side of the church/abbey, you will find a monk being accosted by two guards. Kill both guards to trigger a cutscene (a short, unskippable scene shown during gameplay).

    Return to Forli and head to the abbey in the center of the city.

    Upon arrival, three monks will appear. After a cutscene, they will scatter.

    All three monks will appear as targets on your minimap (a small map usually in the corner of your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), showing your immediate surroundings and nearby objectives).

    You need to chase the monk who does not have a hood.

    Tackle the hooded monk. Be aware that this chase can be annoying, and he may run out of the city, requiring you to pursue him further.

    Once you catch him, you will learn the name of the man who took the Apple of Eden.

    This concludes Sequence 12.

If you have completed Sequence 14, you will play Sequence 13 immediately after Sequence 12 without needing to restart the game. Upon starting Sequence 13, you return to Florence to find Savonarola, the monk who stole the Apple of Eden. Follow the marker on your screen.
