Town Crier

Locate Maffei atop a tall tower with a walkway. Climb the nearest tower, ascending by going around each side.

Perform a ledge assassination on one archer when the other is not looking, then use the Hidden Blade on the second archer when their back is turned.

From the shorter tower, you can proceed to Maffei's tower. Alternatively, visit other towers to assassinate more archers using ledge assassinations and Hidden Blade stealth takedowns.

Take the cable just below the top of the shorter tower to reach Maffei's tower.

Run up the wall from the cable and climb to the walkway patrolled by three archers.

Sneak up on archers when their backs are turned and assassinate them with the Hidden Blade, ensuring others are not in view. You only need to assassinate one or two.

Observe Maffei as he occasionally drops to the walkway. Wait for him to pace and climb back up, then climb up behind him for the assassination. Ensure enough guards are dispatched beforehand.

Locate the large grey building, Santa Maria Assunta, in the city center. Find a way to enter so Ezio is in the central square.

Find a courtyard with a tree and a haystack. Look under nearby supporting columns for a Glyph, using Eagle Vision (a special sight mode).

Martyrs Glyph Puzzle: Use the beeps to locate the Piece of Eden. For the first picture, it's halfway up the staff. For the Joan of Arc image, it's near her left leg by her sword. For the third part, place the fire symbol on the Joan of Arc painting to the left and the top guy toward the third guy.

Return to Maffei's towers. East of his tower are two smaller, close towers. A small patch of roof is between them.

Climb one tower and slip inside, or shimmy onto the roof patch from a side window.

Hat-Trick Glyph Puzzle: Find the Piece of Eden near Houdini's left torso. For the Gandhi image, it's on his chest.

For the third part, align the code wheel: match the 6 on the grey portion with the 1 on the red portion (using R2). Then match 8 and 7 from the grey wheel to the red one. Enter the code (likely 312, but may vary).

Locate the entrance to an Assassin's Tomb on the east side of the Santa Maria Assunta building, down an alley.

Assassin's Tomb - Torre Grossa's Secret: Climb the wall behind the ledge with a door and shimmy over. Pull yourself up and use the lever.

Go up the stairs. Proceed to the next platform and air assassinate one of three guards.

Hide behind wine keg racks to sneak up on the remaining guards or fight them directly.

In the southwest corner, climb kegs to reach a beam, then jump to a small platform, and then to a ledge.

Shimmy along the ledge to the north and jump to the left ledge. Shimmy around until you can pull yourself up onto a platform with a big crate.

Find stairs and go to the balcony. Take out the guard and proceed.

Jump from the balcony railing to the chandelier, then face left and jump to the cables.

Go left, step onto the platform, and jump to the next balcony.

Enter the room, fight the guards, and the Brute. Use the Disarm ability on the Brute by switching to fists, then kill him with his own weapon.

Use medicine if needed. In the southeast corner, under the second floor balcony, climb the bookcase against the wall.
