Follow this guide to complete the 'If At First You Don't Succeed...' mission in Assassin's Creed II, from finding Antonio to reaching Leonardo's workshop.

Alright, so Antonio's been chatting your ear off. Time to get moving! Head south towards that big yellow marker on your map. You'll need to cross one of the bridges to get into the plaza area right outside the basilica – that's where the marker is waiting.

Once that scene wraps up, keep an eye on your map. A new marker will pop up, but here's a little heads-up: it's NOT on the tower or the rooftop nearby. Look for it on the ground, right in between those two spots. Snag that one, and another marker will appear. This time, you'll need to head southeast. Just skirt around the restricted area and you'll find a viewpoint tower near the docks. Scramble up to the very top; the marker's there. Wait around for Antonio to catch up, and another quick scene will kick off.

Next up, a marker appears on the north side of the basilica. If you haven't already synchronized this viewpoint, now's the perfect time! After that, take a Leap of Faith. Antonio's going to take the scenic route down, but don't worry, he won't keep you waiting too long. Just let him follow you to the next marker.

Looks like you've found what you were looking for! You'll need to climb up all the scaffolding with Antonio. It's pretty straightforward, so just follow him up. Once you're on the roof, find the white marker (it'll look yellow on your mini-map). Another scene will play, and you'll spot your target, Grimaldi. The problem is, you still can't reach him. If only there was a way to fly, right?

If you've seen any of the E3 footage for Assassin's Creed II, you'll probably know what's coming next. Without wasting a second, make a run for Leonardo's workshop – that's where the new mission marker is pointing.
