    Keep an eye out for Checco. As soon as you spot him, he'll bolt. He's going to start making a lap around Forli, going clockwise. You absolutely cannot let him get too far away, or you'll be desynched.

    This is where it gets tricky: the streets are packed with guards who will actively try to block your path and chase you down. The agile guards are particularly good at catching up and slowing you to a crawl. Your best bet? Hop on a horse. Seriously, just get on a horse and chase Checco. Ignore the guards; they're just a distraction.

    If you get knocked off your horse, don't waste any time trying to fight the guards. Just get back on your horse or find another one and keep pursuing Checco.

  • Quick Takedown: If you just want this mission over with, deploy a smokebomb. It'll stun everyone around you, giving you a perfect window to assassinate Checco. Boom, done.
  • Dramatic Duel: If you prefer a more dramatic showdown, you can take out the other enemies first. Deploy a smokebomb to keep the other guards off your back while you deal with the archers. You can use throwing knives on them, or draw them out so you can counter and disarm them. Once they're dealt with, you can have a one-on-one fight with Checco. I found disarming him before the final blow to be pretty satisfying.
  • Horse is Key: Seriously, don't bother with the guards on foot. A horse is your best friend for this chase. If you lose yours, find another one immediately.

Once Checco is dealt with, a cutscene will play, and you'll get your next mission marker. Grab a horse and head northwest to continue your journey.
