Learn how to quick select weapons and use the inventory wheel in Assassin's Creed II. Access Hidden Blades, primary weapons, fists, and medicine.

You can use the D-Pad (Directional Pad) to quickly select weapons both during and before fights. Pressing Up on the D-Pad selects your Hidden Blade(s). Pressing Right selects your primary weapon. Pressing Down switches to your fists (unarmed). The D-Pad Left button is used to quick select your recovery medicine.

To select other items and weapons, hold the R2 button to bring up the Inventory Wheel. Use the Left Analog Stick to select your desired item or weapon from the wheel. The selected item or weapon will remain equipped until you change to something else.
