Nightcap

Follow this walkthrough for Assassin's Creed II's Nightcap mission. Learn how to complete objectives, avoid guards, and find Cristina's house.

Alright, let's get through this Nightcap mission. After the last bit, you'll want to get onto the perch sticking out from the tower. Look around by hitting Triangle – if you played the first Assassin's Creed, this will feel familiar. When you're ready, take a Leap of Faith into the hay below.

After that, Vieri and his goons will show up. Wait for them to pass by, then leave the hay and head towards your next objective. Keep in mind, Vieri's men are still on your tail, so you'll need to stay hidden. You can see them as red circles on your mini-map. If they spot you, they'll give chase. You have the option to fight back or run. If you choose to run, you'll notice these enemies have a search circle, much like in Grand Theft Auto IV. Your goal is to escape this search circle shown on the mini-map. Once you're out of it, they'll lose sight of you, and you'll be free to find a hiding spot.

Next, make your way to Cristina's house. Look for the white circle on the ground to find it. After a short cutscene, climb up to her window. Looks like Ezio's charming as ever! You'll get an interactive cutscene with a few button prompts. Be quick on the second prompt – it only appears for a split second, so try not to miss it!

Once that's done, head to the marker indicated by the "!" symbol. You'll find Ezio's father, Giovanni. You'll get a Database entry for him. Chat with him for a scene; he'll give Ezio a letter to deliver. If you're curious, you can read the letter by pressing Select.
