V Rising Weapons: Crafting & Tiers

Alright, let's talk about weapons in V Rising. Getting the right gear is super important, and thankfully, crafting is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. You'll need a Castle to craft anything beyond the most basic bone stuff, so get that sorted first. Once you've got a base, make sure you build a few Furnaces to process your ores.

Here are the key crafting structures you'll need:

Simple Workbench: For your Bone and Copper weapons.
Woodworking Bench: Essential for crafting all your Crossbows.
Smithy: This is where you'll craft your Iron weapons.
Anvil: For the really good stuff – Dark Silver weapons and beyond.

How do you get these structures and their recipes? Simple: you defeat the V Blood Carriers scattered across Vardoran. Usually, taking down the main V Blood boss in a region will unlock the next tier of gear. For example, beating Octavian the Militia Captain will get you the Anvil and the recipes for Dark Silver weapons. So, keep hunting those bosses!

Now, within each weapon tier, you can also craft upgraded versions. Think of Bone weapons becoming Reinforced Bone, or Copper and Iron becoming Merciless versions. These upgraded weapons pack a better punch and make it way easier to take down the V Blood Carriers that unlock the next tier. To get the recipes for these upgrades, you've got a couple of options. You might get lucky and find a rare drop from enemies, which you can then use at the Research Desk or Study. Alternatively, you can use Paper or Scrolls at the Research Desk to learn a random recipe. It's a bit of a gamble, but it's a solid way to get that recipe if you're not finding drops.
