Alright, so you want to get into the fancy stuff like potions and better Blood Essences, huh? Building an Alchemy Lab is your next big step in V Rising. It's not just about looking cool; it actually speeds up your crafting and cuts down on resource costs for certain items. Let's get you set up!

What You Need to Get Started

First off, you can't just slap down an Alchemy Lab. You need to craft a Research Desk. For that, you'll need 8 Planks, 120 Animal Hide, and 80 Stone. Once that's built, you'll need to find the Alchemy Lab Flooring recipe. You can get this by fighting enemies, bosses, or looting chests in villages and camps. If you're having bad luck, you can also use 50 Papers at your Research Desk and hope it pops up as a random discovery.

Speaking of Paper, you can find it from enemy drops, chests in Bandit Camps, or by smashing barrels. But here's a pro-tip: as you get further in, you'll want to unlock the Paper Press. This bad boy crafts one Paper for you using 4 Plant Fiber and 12 Sawdust.

To get the Paper Press, you'll need to be around Gear Level 30-35. Track down Nicholaus the Fallen using your Blood Altar and beat him. This unlocks the Study. Build the Study with 12 Wooden Planks and 12 Copper Ingots. Then, just like the Research Desk, you'll need to discover the recipe from the Study, but this time it costs 75 Scrolls.

Once you've got the Alchemy Lab Flooring recipe, you can finally build your lab! Make a medium-sized room and select the Alchemy Lab Flooring from your build menu (Press [B] > Castle > Flooring). You'll see the bonuses listed right there in the build menu, usually under the equipment it affects.
