Hey there, vampire! Ready to take on Lord Styx the Night Champion? He's a pretty tough Level 84 V Blood Carrier, so make sure you're prepared. Let's get you ready to face him. ## Location You'll find Lord Styx hanging out around a big Blood Crystal. It's located just south of Gloomrot, right in the heart of Dracula's Demise. ## Rewards Defeating Styx is worth it! You'll earn the awesome Bat Form vampire power, and recipes for the Onyx Tear and the Blood Key. Pretty handy stuff! ### Vampire Powers * Bat Form: Lets you transform into a bat for quick escapes or travel. ### Recipes * Onyx Tear * Blood Key ### Attacks Lord Styx has a few nasty tricks up his sleeve: * Double Kill: Two quick slashes followed by a lunge. * Death Spin: He spins, sending out damaging red blades in a full circle. Watch out for both the area damage and the single-target blades. * Lunge: At 80% health, he'll teleport behind you and dash forward. Keep your eyes peeled! * Bat Swarm: He summons three bat-energy balls that home in on you. * Gargoyles: At 50% HP, he'll jump up and summon two gargoyles to help him out. * Ultimate Power: He floats up, darkens the screen, and unleashes 10 Bat Swarm attacks. This is a big one! * Jump: He can jump and perform a 'Heart strike'. * Teleport: He can also teleport behind you. ### Strategy To take on Styx, you'll want to be at a similar gear level or have a full set of the upgraded Dread Plate armor with Sanguine weapons and an Amulet of the Blade Master. For spells, consider using Ward of the Damned, Veil of Blood, Blood Fountain, and Raging Tempest. Remember, healing before attacking is key! His most dangerous attacks are his 'This is your end' and 'A few allies' (referring to his summons). You can either tank these hits or heal through them. Use Ward of the Damned to counter his Double Kill. For the Lunge, just sidestep to either side. The Bat Swarm is easy to avoid by moving forward or backward. Dodge his Death Spin by sidestepping; just make sure you're far away when he starts spinning.
