The S.R.S. Cannon, or Rocket Launcher, is a cornerstone of explosive destruction in ULTRAKILL. Its primary fire launches a slow-moving, high-damage rocket that detonates on impact, creating a significant area of effect. This makes it incredibly effective against groups of weaker enemies or for staggering larger foes. However, its slow projectile speed means you'll need to lead your targets, especially moving ones. Mastering the S.R.S. Cannon involves understanding its projectile arc and the timing required to land direct hits.

The alt-fire, the Salvo Rocket, is where the S.R.S. Cannon truly shines. Holding down the alt-fire button charges a volley of smaller, faster rockets that can be unleashed in a burst. This is excellent for quickly shredding through tougher enemies or for creating a concentrated barrage of damage. The Salvo Rocket can also be used to stagger enemies, interrupting their attacks and leaving them vulnerable. Experiment with charging the Salvo Rocket for different durations to control the spread and density of your rocket barrage. A fully charged Salvo can decimate a room of weaker enemies in seconds.

When facing large, stationary targets or bosses, a well-placed direct hit from the primary fire can deal massive damage. For more mobile enemies, utilizing the Salvo Rocket to suppress them or to land multiple hits as they move is key. Don't underestimate the power of splash damage; even near misses can contribute to clearing out swarms of weaker foes. The S.R.S. Cannon is particularly potent in enclosed spaces where the splash damage is maximized.
