The humble coin, a seemingly simple projectile, is a cornerstone of advanced ULTRAKILL combat. Mastering coin shotting allows for incredible crowd control, damage amplification, and even unique combo setups. The core principle is to shoot a coin, then shoot it again with another weapon to detonate it, dealing explosive damage in an area. This is particularly effective against tightly grouped enemies.

The primary weapon for coin shotting is the Revolver. Its standard shot can be used to launch a coin, and then any other weapon can be used to detonate it. The shotgun's spread is excellent for detonating coins in a wider area, making it ideal for clearing out groups. The Nailgun's rapid fire can detonate multiple coins quickly, creating a sustained area of damage. The Rocket Launcher's explosive projectile is also a potent detonator, capable of massive damage.

Coin shotting shines in specific scenarios. When facing a swarm of weaker enemies like Husks or Stalkers, a well-placed coin can instantly eliminate a significant portion of them. Against tougher foes like Swordsmachines or V2, a coin detonated behind them can deal significant damage and stagger them. Experiment with different weapon combinations for detonation. For instance, shooting a coin with the Revolver and then immediately switching to the Shotgun for a wide spread detonation can be devastating.

Advanced coin shotting involves using the coin to set up other attacks. You can launch a coin, then use your movement abilities to position yourself for a follow-up attack as the coin detonates. This allows for seamless transitions between crowd control and focused damage. Remember to practice the timing; a mistimed detonation can leave you vulnerable. The coin is a versatile tool that, when mastered, elevates your combat effectiveness exponentially.
