The Cybergrind is ULTRAKILL's ultimate test of survival and combat proficiency, an endless arena mode where players face increasingly difficult waves of enemies. It's designed to push your skills to their absolute limit, forcing you to master weapon switching, movement, and resource management under extreme pressure. The core loop of the Cybergrind involves surviving a set number of waves to earn points and unlock new tiers of difficulty and enemy types. Each successful wave grants you a brief respite to purchase upgrades and replenish your health and ammo from the shop that appears between waves. Failure means starting back at wave one, making each decision and each kill crucial.

To succeed in the Cybergrind, you need a solid understanding of enemy behaviors and effective crowd-control strategies. Prioritize targets that pose the most immediate threat, such as Malicious Faces or Swordsmachine units. Learn to use the environment to your advantage – use cover, create choke points, and exploit verticality. Weapon synergy is paramount; don't stick to just one weapon. Master the rapid switching between your revolver, shotgun, nailgun, and rocket launcher to adapt to different enemy types and situations. For instance, the piercing shot of the Overheal shotgun is excellent for clearing out tightly packed groups, while the rapid fire of the Overheat Nailgun can quickly melt tougher single targets. The Cybergrind also heavily rewards aggressive play. The more stylish your kills and the faster you clear waves, the more points you'll earn, which directly translates to better upgrades. Don't be afraid to take risks, but always be mindful of your health and ammo. Experiment with different loadouts and upgrade paths to find what works best for your playstyle.
