Mostly, you'll find them hawking weapons, but they've also got some armor on hand. Plus, these smiths (and armorers, for that matter) are the ones you'll want to see if your trusty sword or shield has taken a beating. They'll repair your weapons and armor for a fee, which is super handy when you're deep in a dungeon crawl and your gear's about to give out.

Just a heads-up, while we're talking about shops, general stores are also where you can snag horses and wagons. A horse will seriously speed up your travels, and you can even ride them around town. If you need to haul a ton of loot, a wagon's the way to go, though you can't take 'em into dungeons. Now, listen closely: DO NOT buy extra horses or wagons!
