Morgiah's Letter (Level Req: 3): After reaching level 3, you'll receive several letters, including one from Morgiah. She knows about the Emperor's letter and will give you information if you complete a task for her. She is located near the thrones with her cat.

Deliver to the King of Worms: Morgiah tasks you with delivering a letter to the King of Worms, a powerful necromancer. Travel to the Dragontail Mountains in the southeast of the world map to find his lair, the Scourg Barrow.

Scourg Barrow: Upon entering, you'll find a room with seven coffins. Open the second coffin from the left to reveal a secret passage (pitfall). If you cannot Levitate or Climb, leave a Teleportation anchor here.

Navigating the Barrow: Drop into the passage. In the next room with zombies and doors, kill or avoid the zombies. Exit through the door to the left of the one you entered. Follow the passage to the end and through the door. At the fork, take a left into a cavernous passage. Follow the downward slope and take the first right. The passage should become paved; find a passage and door to your left.

The King of Worms' Lair: Open the door. The lair contains two Ancient Liches, a Vampire Ancient, dancers, and guards. They are non-hostile unless provoked. The King of Worms is on the dais next to a coffin. Talk to him to receive a reply letter for Morgiah.

Exiting the Barrow: Return the way you came. If you left an anchor, this is easier. You'll need to levitate or climb out of the coffin. The North wall is scalable if climbing. If you can't, a nearby tapestry can cast Levitate.

Return to Morgiah: Go back to Castle Wayrest and speak with Morgiah. She'll inform you that the Orc Chief Gortwog has the letter and advises you to speak with Mynisera, the dowager queen, through her handmaid, Cyndassa.

Cyndassa's Brother (Level Req: 5): Find Cyndassa in Castle Daggerfall, to the left of the grand staircase leading to the thrones. She'll help you with Mynisera if you kill a specific werewolf.

The Werewolf Hunt: The werewolf is in a randomly selected dungeon. You'll receive a message upon killing the correct one. Return to Cyndassa.

Cyndassa's Revelation: Cyndassa reveals the werewolf was her brother and that the Emperor's letter was mistakenly sent to Queen Aubk-i instead of Mynisera. She then recommends you to Mynisera.

Finding the Courier (Level Req: 5, Quest Req: Cyndassa's Brother): Mynisera is in Castle Daggerfall, to the right of the grand staircase. She'll send you to find the courier responsible for the misdelivery.

Intercepting the Courier: You'll be directed to a specific town on a specific day to intercept the courier. Prioritize the date in your logbook if it differs from the quest dialog. The courier will explain the letter was addressed simply to 'The Queen of Daggerfall,' causing confusion due to the change in rulers after King Lysandus's death.

The Lich's Soul (Level Req: 7, Quest Req: Morgiah's Letter): After completing Morgiah's task, you'll receive a message from the King of Worms via a zombie. Kill the zombie and find the note. Return to the Scourg Barrow to speak with the King of Worms. He tasks you with killing a lich in Castle Sentinel and trapping its soul. A soultrap spell or soulgem is not required.
