There are seven distinct pieces of armor available in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. These can be crafted from Leather, Chain, or Plate materials. Plate armor, specifically, can be found in various materials, which directly influences its weight and how protective it is. With the sole exception of the cuirass, armor pieces generally represent the best type of loot due to their favorable gold-per-kilogram ratio.
